Frog Systems is pleased to announce that Ashia – our video based Mental Wellness Software – has been nominated as a finalist in the Best New Product category at this year’s 2021 Made in Scotland Awards.
Described as a Celebration of Scottish Innovation, the Made in Scotland awards are organised by Scottish Business Insider, partnering with the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS), to champion all aspects of transformational discoveries and developments made in Scotland. This year’s finalists include: Bellrock Technology, Optos, Intelligent Growth Solutions, Novosound and Lazy Day Foods.
The Best New Product award is given to a new product designed and/or manufactured in Scotland and put on the market between January and December 2020 which has the potential to make a significant market impact and bring commercial success.
Launched in late spring last year, Ashia enables any organisation to proactively support those in its care – employees, students, members, athletes or residents – and then analyse and measure the effectiveness of that support. The software is fully customisable from geographical coverage, signposting and video content, demographics to the wellness themes that resonate within a community.
The benefits of Ashia are twofold. End users receive the support, encouragement and inspiration they need to be the best they can be, whilst the organisation has access to real time anonymised data, gaining early insight into its community’s interests and any potential issues that may exist.
Phil Worms, CEO, Frog Systems stated: ‘We are delighted that Ashia has been considered as one of Scotland’s Best New Products, and are proud to be flying the flag for the nation’s thriving tech for good community with this finalist nomination. On a personal level, I am very pleased that the remarkable efforts and dedication of the team have been recognised in this fashion, particularly given the challenges of a very difficult year.”
Speaking last year, Ken Symon, editor of Scottish Business Insider said: “Our Made In Scotland awards really have a buzz about them. They attract some of the best companies innovating and making things here. It really is a great company to be part of.”
The Made In Scotland Awards 2021 event will be be hosted online by Fred MacAulay and will take place on Thursday, 10 June at 6pm. Register for free tickets and watch the event via the Made in Scotland Awards website.
