Frog Systems has been named today as a finalist in the Startup Summit Competition Final.
Each year, FutureX, organisers of the Startup Summit, accepts a cohort of rising tech leaders on their Silicon Valley Scale programme, where they are given the opportunity to connect with some of the global players in the tech industry and pitch to potential investors. Previous cohorts have met with execs from Airbnb, Facebook, Survey Monkey, RocketSpace, Y Combinator, Waze, Threshold and more. SVS programme alumni include some of the UK’s leading tech entrepreneurs, who have collectively raised over £40M in investment.
The competition which attracted over 100 entries has now reached the final phase, with three companies left to compete for the opportunity to win a fully funded place on the 2021 SVS programme, plus a massive business support package worth over £60k from the summit’s partners at Johnston Carmichael, STV and AAI.
Frog is being considered for its innovative approach to the use of video as a means of communicating messages of hope from those who have survived dark journeys, and thrived, to those facing similar challenges. It’s mental health and wellbeing video platform software can be licensed and customised by any organisation with a duty of care.
The final of the Competition takes place at Startup Summit, where Frog with the other two finalists – Social Good Connect and CyberShell Solutions – will pitch to an expert judging panel for a chance to win the top prize on Thursday 29th October.
This year’s Summit will be held online, in line with current Government guidelines for social distancing, on Wednesday, 28 Oct 2020 and Thursday 29 Oct 2020. Key speakers at the event include: James Watt, MBE (CEO, BrewDog), Amali de Alwis (Managing Director, Microsoft for Startups UK), Chris Neumann (Founder & CEO, Commonwealth Ventures), Alice Zagury (CEO, The Family) and Sir Tom Hunter (Philanthropist, The Hunter Foundation).
