Frog Systems has announced their achievement of the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials Plus Certification.
Cyber Essentials is a key part of the UK’s National Cyber Security Programme and aims to ensure that sensitive data and information are secure and being handled correctly. The certification is awarded to organisations who can successfully demonstrate and verify that they are secure across all digital platforms within their control.
Cyber Essentials Plus status demonstrates Frog’s commitment to digital security and protecting against online threats. This independently certified accreditation acknowledges the work that Frog has undertaken in implementing processes and policies to protect its systems currently and in the future.
The accreditation has been awarded through North Ayrshire based CyberAgress.
Phil Worms, CEO, Frog Systems commented “We are an online business and its imperative that we can publicly demonstrate our commitment to addressing and mitigating the threats posed by the internet. Achieving Cyber Essential Plus is an important step in giving our partners the assurance that we take their online safety and security as seriously as we do our own.”
Cyber Essentials Plus ensures that an organisation must meet the standards and requirements set within five main technical control themes: firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection and patch management. The assessment and certification covers the whole of the Frog’s IT infrastructure – both internal and external.
Frog’s certification was supported by Scottish Enterprise’s Cyber Essentials Voucher Scheme which is designed to assist Scottish organisations in achieving the certification.
