Frog Systems revealed as a Workplace Inclusion finalist in the 2020 AbilityNet Tech4Good Awards supported by BT.
The company has been shortlisted in the Tech4Good Workplace Inclusion Award – sponsored by Microsoft.
Frog Systems’ primary purpose is to demonstrate to employees that they are not alone; they should not feel inhibited nor stigmatised by their personal challenges and that help IS available. Through its Champions Cinema, Frog builds upon consumer appetite for video content (80% of internet traffic) to communicate messages of hope, support, and advice through the showcasing of the lived experience. The cinema offers positive stories of survival from real people, coupled with advice and support from organisations, told in no more than 60 second shorts.
The platform can be fully customised, personalised, and licensed by any organisation with a duty of care. The software provides employers with access to real time anonymised statistical data providing them with a ‘mental health and wellbeing’ temperature gauge of their organisation enabling further planning and action.
Frog does not replace other EAP services, rather it complements them by bridging the gap between an employee struggling and taking that first step in seeking early intervention and support.
Phil Worms, CEO Frog Systems, commented: “The past few months have been challenging for everyone, and Frog is no exception, so this news of our Tech4Good finalist nomination has come at a very welcome time. It is great recognition for the team and together with our recent highly commended Tech Nation rising star nod in the Scottish tech start up sector, and finalist in the Digital Agenda Impact Awards, shows that we are on the right path.”
Now in its 10th year, the AbilityNet Tech4Good Awards recognise organisations and individuals who use digital technology to improve the lives of others and make the world a better place. Tech4Good is the only national awards that highlight the wealth of charities, businesses and volunteers across the UK that harness the power of technology to benefit the community.
Commenting on the finalist nominations, Mark Walker, Head of Marketing & Communications, AbilityNet and organiser of the Awards, said: “Our tenth year has seen more entries than ever, with hundreds of amazing examples of how tech can help to make the world a better place. Our judges had the extremely tough job of selecting the shortlists, picking out the finalists who they think could be this year’s winners. It’s difficult to describe how difficult this is – so many amazing entries were pipped at the post – so huge congratulations to everyone who made it!”
The other finalists in the category include ClearTalents, Person Centred Software and Colorintech. The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on Thursday 24 September.
